Razer x Pokémon 2024 Collab: Pikachu-Themed Viper V3 Pro
On July 8th, Razer posted on X (formerly Twitter) announcing a brand-new collaboration with Pokémon, with full details to be revealed on July 17 at 8:00 AM (23:00 Beijing time).
In the teaser post, Razer wrote: “Are you ready to embark on a new journey?”
The official Pokémon account replied with a 👀 emoji, and Razer followed up with a “You and me 🤝” response.
A user named @Avaddov commented, “For the love of Arceus, please don’t make this a China-exclusive release again,” to which Razer simply replied, “Got it.”
Today, Razer officially unveiled several new Pokémon-themed products, including a Pikachu Edition Viper V3 Pro Wireless Mouse, priced $15 higher than the standard version. The mouse features Pikachu’s iconic yellow metallic finish, lightning graphics, and Pikachu silhouettes on the left and right click buttons.
Weighing only 55 grams, the mouse is equipped with Razer’s second-generation Focus Pro 35K optical sensor, supports a native 8000Hz polling rate, and uses the third-gen optical mouse switches. It offers wired and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, and comes with a rechargeable design.
Razer has previously collaborated with Pokémon on a variety of peripherals, including mice, keyboards, soundbars, mousepads, over-ear headphones, and true wireless earbuds. Among these, the most striking design was the second-generation Razer Poké Ball-themed earbuds, featuring a charging case modeled after the iconic Poké Ball. The earbuds themselves were painted Pikachu yellow, featured Pikachu voice prompts, RGB lighting styled after Pikachu, and supported both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz dual-mode connections.
Razer has also revealed that a Gengar-themed gaming chair is on the way, though the product has not been officially released yet.
